2. Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, and click on any item(s) that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'make order' and you will be asked for a few details that we will need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Paypal, Solo and Delta Card. We also accept cheque payment (UK drawn bank only). Send your order in writing and post it with your cheque, or simply phone or fax your order to us.


1: Sale and Purchase

We will sell and you will purchase products subject to our terms and conditions of business set out below. The contract in respect of the products supplied by us to you comes into existence when your order has been accepted by us. For the avoidance of doubt, receipt of an order via our Site does not constitute acceptance of an order.

2: Price

2.1 All prices are quoted in pounds Sterling and are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise specified, regardless of the currency.
Currency rates are for comparison ONLY and actual rates may vary slightly.

2.2 All item prices are exclusive of delivery and packaging, unless otherwise stated. Details of our delivery charges are displayed when ordering your item.

2.3 Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing and product information on the Website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order.
We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.

2.4 Prices are correct at the time of order only and relate to internet purchases only. All orders for products are subject to availability and we reserve the right to refuse to supply any particular person.

2.4 Some bicycles maybe dispatched 95% assembled to avoid damages in transit, which will mean some minor assembly will be required. We reccommend this is done by a professional certified mechanic, should you need any assistant and live local to one of our retail branches this can be done at a SMALL CHARGE, or alternatively any bicycle shop will assemble it for you at a charge. Battery Toys are also dispatched 95% assembled, this assembly is straight forward and any competent person should be capable of assembling these.

3. Stock Status

We have three main stock status categories which are shown on our website, 'In Stock' meaning the item is available for immediate dispatch. 'Available' meaning item is in stock, although delivery may take 1/2 days extra and 'Due In' meaning the item is out of stock, for which the period is shown. D2 Extra (DX) items are normally delivered within 7 working days, unless otherwise stated or advised.
These are guidelines only, and the actual stock status of all orders will be confirmed via email.

WE ADVISE YOU TO KEEP ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING IN CASE YOUR ITEM NEEDS TO BE RETURNED TO US. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY FOR ITEMS DAMAGED DUE TO INSUFFICIENT PACKAGING.

Backordered items can be cancelled at any time prior to dispatch.
Deposit's paid for any backordered items which are cancelled are refundable at our discretion.

3. Shipping And Handling

D2 Leisure Group offers delivery to addresses within the United Kingdom and Europe Only.
We offer a standard delivery service to addresses in the United Kingdom, where the delivery details are as follow:

Delivery Method - Parcelforce Worldwide, Nightfreight, TNT UK, or DHL Express.
Delivery Time - 1-3 working days* . (*subject to availablity)
Standard Delivery Charge (England & Wales)- £4.95 (Excludes Special Offers), Other options are also available at point of order
All items are charged on weight, and will be advised online at point of order.
International Delivery Charges Vary Depending on the Weight of The Item and Destination Country, and will be confirmed prior to completing the order and shipping.

4. Delivery Schedule

Dispatch will normally take place within 24 hours, and so deliveries will normally be made in the normal course of delivery by the carrier thereafter. Delays in collection and delivery by the carrier may be experienced over the festive period.
You will be advised by phone or e-mail of any delay, or if the item is no longer available.

5. Back Orders

All products and services are subject to availability. If your item is not in stock, we can backorder for you. You will always be e-mailed with the option to cancel your order, if you would rather not wait, or to claim a full refund.

6. Credit Card Security

Your credit card security is our utmost priority, and D2 Leisure has taken the necessary steps to ensure that your payment information
is processed confidentially and accurately.

D2 Leisure uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), provided by Secure Trading, where credit card details are encrypted in the software when the order is placed. This makes it virtually impossible for unauthorised parties to read any information that you send us.

7. Finance Options*

We also offer various finance options to suit your financial needs.*All finance is subject to status and is not available to anyone under 18 years of age. Written quotations are available on request. 0800 83 86 87.

8. Our Guarantee and Your Statutory Right of Cancellation

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you can return it in an unused condition within 14 days, with the original receipt. We will either exchange the item(s) or refund your money, as you wish. Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order within seven days without giving a reason, the 7 days starting the day after receipt of the goods. You must bear the costs of returning the goods to us. A refund will be given within 28 days of cancellation of the goods.
If the item is returned damaged we reserve the right to levy a charge commensurate with our costs of processing the sale.
Your statutory rights are not affected.

Battery Operated Ride On's and Electric Scooters have a 6 months manufacturer warranty, and most other items have a 12 months manufacturer warranty. Should you experience any problems during this period we will do our upmost to ensure this is dealt with as quickly as possible with the least inconvenience to yourself. All warranties exclude labour and transportation costs.

9. Battery Operated Ride On Vehicles (Our Own Guarantee To You)

Our 2 Year Commitment

All our products are supplied with an instruction manual. Make sure that you read these instructions carefully and keep them safe for future reference along with your proof of purchase. If you have purchased a battery operated ride-on vehicle, ensure that for the first and subsequent times you charge your battery, you adhere to the charging instructions included in your manual as batteries and chargers are not covered under this guarantee.

Repairs: 0-6 months FREE

D2 Leisure Group products have been tested to the highest quality standard. If, however, you have purchased a product from D2 Leisure Group and it develops a manufacturing fault within the first six months of use, we will repair it free of charge.

We will also provide:

Spare Parts FREE of charge (excluding batteries, chargers and unibodies); however, accidental damage or misuse is not covered under the guarantee. Repairs will be charged at £25 for administration & handling, plus Spare Parts in these cases.

Repairs: 6-12 months

If between six and 12 months of owning your battery operated ride-on vehicle, it requires repairing, D2 Leisure Group has the necessary parts to repair your product. All repairs between six and 12 months will be charged as follows:

Labour is FREE of charge
Spare Parts are charged at cost,

6 Volt vehicles: administration and handling will be charged at £25 ; or
12 Volt vehicles: administration and handling will be charged at £50.

Repairs: 12-24 months

If between 12 and 24 months of owning your battery operated ride-on vehicle, it requires repairing, D2 Leisure Group has the necessary parts to repair your product. All repairs between 12 and 24 months will be charged as follows:

Labour is FREE of charge
Spare Parts are charged at cost,

6 Volt vehicles: administration and handling will be charged at £25 ; or
12 Volt vehicles: administration and handling will be charged at £50.

All Mamas and Papas products which need servicing or repairs can be done through us, and will be sent to Mamas and Papas main service centre in Huddersfield for the job to be done.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

10. Returns and Exchanges Policy

We want you to be happy with everything you buy from D2 Leisure Group. If you are not satisfied with your new purchase, we will exchange or refund any unused item provided it is returned in a saleable condition, in its original, undamaged packaging, with your receipt and within 14 days from receipt of goods, exceptions apply for hygiene and safety reasons on some items such as toiletries.
If we find that the product has not been returned to us in a re-saleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund. We will refund your original delivery charge when a product is faulty or damaged, but not when a product is simply unwanted.

11. Returns Procedure

If you would like us to collect your return the following procedure will apply:

Contact us with details of your original order number, dispatch note and your credit card details (card number and expiry date) and we will arrange to collect your return.
Your credit card will then be debited with the cost of the return delivery.
When the goods arrive back at our Customer Distribution Centre they will be assessed and should it be concluded that they are faulty or that there was a discrepancy in the order, the return delivery charge will be credited back to you.
You will receive a full refund of the purchase price and the delivery charge.

12. Recycling/Disposal of Electrical Waste

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2006 (the WEEE Regulations) came into effect in the United Kingdom on 1st July 2007. The Regulations have been designed to prevent/reduce the amount of waste electrical and electronic equipment by promoting its reuse , recycling and recovery. The separate collection of WEEE saves energy and resources and avoids hazardous materials from going to landfill.

Electrical and electronic equipment is any product that relies on electricity or batteries to perform its primary function, for example a kettle or a watch.

Products which are covered by the WEEE Regulations have a crossed out wheelie bin symbol on either the product itself or its packaging.

This symbol aims to encourage you to identify a WEEE product and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that it can be recycled when it reaches the end of its life.

From 1st July 2007, D2 Leisure Group is required to offer a free method of disposal of your old electrical and electronic equipment when you purchase any similar items from us.

If you have an old electrical/electronic product that has reached the end of its life you can drop it free of charge at our warehouse in Basildon (Unit 3/4 Falcon Park, Luckyn Lane, Basildon, ESSEX SS14 3AL).

We will then dispose of this for you at a registered DCF centre. Alternatively you can take this yourself to your local WEEE collection point.

13. Batteries

Under the Waste Battery Regulations, D2 Leisure Group are now offering a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries.
If you have any old batteries that have reached the end of its life you can drop it free of charge at our warehouse in Basildon (Unit 3/4 Falcon Park, Luckyn Lane, Basildon, ESSEX SS14 3AL). Please do not post.

Alternatively you can find your local waste portable battery recycling facility at www.recyclenow.com

Most supermarkets and shops that sell batteries will have collection bins for used batteries, and some town halls, libraries or schools may also set up collection points. End-users may find stores in their local area more accessible.
